  Green Food Energy Supplements

Green food supplements such as alfalfa, green barley extract, wheat grass extract, spirulina, chlorella and kelp may help fight arthritis, asthma, cancer, constipation, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, impotence, kidney problems, obesity and aging.

These low-fat Green Foods are considered Power Foods or foods that have extraordinary healing properties and are loaded with nutrition. If provided with the proper nutrition your body will heal itself from common ailments and diseases. These Superfoods are often considered as nutraceuticals, because they allow your body to heal itself. It is always easier to prevent diseases than it is to fight them once they have begun.

Once you start eating Green Foods, your energy level will soon pick up. The body's cells and organs will also stop constantly sending signals to your brain that you are hungry when in fact your body is sorely lacking nutrients so it is sending those signals that are translated into hunger. It will become easier for you to loose weight under these conditions.

Alkalinity

One thing all these foods have in common is that they all produce an alkaline condition in the body to varying degrees. This is crucial because keeping your body alkaline is what helps stave off most diseases. Diseases get their start and thrive in acidic conditions and will seldom start or thrive in an alkaline environment.

Green Foods are loaded with enzymes, key vitamins, amino acids, minerals, chlorophyll and essential fatty acids. Because they are so nutrient dense, it is believed the body can assimilate them better than vitamin pills.

It was a century ago that chemists segregated a green pigment from the green leaves which they called chlorophyll. Dr. Richard Willstatter, in 1913, pointed out that all of life energy comes from the sun. Green plants alone possess the secret of how to capture this solar energy. Out of this process stems much of what we know as life and growth.

The chlorophyll molecule bears a striking resemblance to hemoglobin, the red pigment in human blood. The red blood pigment is a web of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen atoms grouped around a single atom of iron. Nature's green pigment is a similar web of the same atoms, except that its centerpiece is a single atom of magnesium.

Green food products are very popular for vegetarian and vegan diets to help insure adequate vitamins and minerals.

Research indicates that green foods, such as alfalfa, green barley extract, wheat grass extract, spirulina, chlorella, and kelp may help fight a number of conditions, including anemia, arthritis, asthma, cancer, constipation, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, impotence, kidney problems, obesity, premature aging, skin problems, and wrinkles. Green foods seem to fill the nutrient void and are the ideal fast food.

Green Food mixes well with juices and smoothies....enjoy! Available in powder, tablets and capsules.
